It’s been a while since the last time I covered the city in Australia for this $10 series. But no worries, this week we’re going back to the down under. Specifically, we’re going back to the state of Victoria.
So, after we covered Melbourne last year, today we’re going to talk about a city located in the southwest of Victoria’s capital city.
The city expert, Audrey of See Geelong will take us to the city and tell us the local hack to spend your $10 USD in Geelong.

If I usually spent Valentine’s day alone, being single and miserable, then this year it’s different. Well, technically I’m not single but then again I’d still spend my Valentine’s day alone since my boyfriend is in Singapore.
But then again, let me throw some mushy stuff to you in case you feel miserable just because you’re far away from your partner on this Valentine’s day: 14 February doesn’t really matter when you’re with the right partner. Why? Because you don’t need a special day to celebrate love. You could always celebrate love everyday. Or hate, for that matter. 😛
I mean, we agree that as much as you love your partner, there is some stuff about them that makes you want to rip their neck sometimes.
Anyway, since I’ve just jumped into the bandwagon to plan out a vacation with my boyfriend… I’m checking out some other couple travelers to get some inspo about traveling with my partner. And I decided to list the 12 of my favorites on the day of love. Yeay!

After covering some cities in Southern America in the past few weeks, let’s move back to the down under. This time, we’re moving to South Australia instead to see how $10 could cover you in Adelaide.
I remember when I was in college, there was a song with title “Adelaide Sky” released by an Indonesian musician called Adhitia Sofyan. The song had been played so often on the radio that the soothing voice of the singer easily caught my ears.
Now, now, even though I’ve never been to Adelaide before, but thanks to that song, I’d like to visit the city if I get a chance. Meanwhile, now thanks to Georgie from Journey with Georgie who would contribute for this piece, let’s move to South Australia to see more of Adelaide! 😉

Sometimes, we need a break. A proper break, from our lives and stresses, but also from activity. We need to lie by a pool for hours at a time, sipping cocktails and reading easy books. We need slow walks across the beach and afternoons in the spa. We need time to do as little as possible to recharge our batteries and catch up on our rest.
Sometimes, it’s good to be lazy, to chill out and to give ourselves time to relax and unwind. These kinds of vacations are ideal after a busy period of work, or when you’ve got a lot on your mind, and you need to take some time just to think. You can come home feeling refreshed and ready to get back into things.
But, these kinds of a trip aren’t for everyone all of the time. Sometimes relaxing by the beach all of the time feels like a waste. When you’ve got energy to burn you might want to spend your time being more active. Some people even find it easier to clear their minds when their bodies are moving. They find it easier to think and to sort through their thoughts when they are moving, seeing new sites and enjoying all that the world has to offer.
