If you’re looking for a town where time stands still, there is but one place that has been known to do that – Freycinet. This Peninsula situated in Tasmania occupies an entire island on its won and has the most magnificent array of luxurious and otherwise experiences to offer its visitors.

There is an array of activities available for those who are interested, from Kayaking to exploring the isolated beaches, and even recreational fishing for species such as salmon, trumpeter, squid and trevally, but the best part about living here is that you get to swim with dolphins.
Whales and fur seals also often visit the bay so if your lucky you can get to see these magnificent creatures within just a few feet in front of you. The marvel of which is unmissable.

Not only do you get to see how they are farmed but you can also get to taste them in some wonderful cuisines offered at the local restaurants. Nowhere else will you get such fresh catch sent to your dinner plate.
What’s not to like about this? You can freely paddle your way around the bay and enjoy a scenic personal tour in a relaxed and somber environment with just you, the water, and the air. Do it at sunset and call it a day!

Where would be without bees in the world? Nowhere really. Visit the bee-keeping facilities run by professional horticulturalists in the area and maybe you will learn a thing or two about how bees make honey, how their structure is organized and get a taste of their honey fresh from the comb. We’re not sure, the store-bought kid comes anywhere close to the taste of this liquid gold.
Of course, you have to go on a boat trip when you are surrounded by countless beaches and sea. Take a trip around the other 300 islands in the region and get a feel for what it is like to live in paradise!

Freycinet has many different types of lodges, which are located in and around the Freycinet National Park.
They usually offer fine dining and semi-luxury accommodation to its visitors. These would characteristically offer a few packages such as a 2-night stay or a weekend getaway.
Similar to a lodge however the facilities might be slightly different. These may have an activity center with a pool and an eatery for food. The rooms are mostly simple and you have your basic amenities provided.
