A Guide to Rebranding: Why and How to Do It Effectively

Hi everyone!

After a couple of years running this blog, I’ve just done some rebranding recently. It took me a while to finally execute my plan to rebrand, but I’m glad that I finally did it.

This was my second time to do rebranding for the blog, and I figure now that I’ve had some experiences to do it, I’d like to share with you why and how I do rebranding for my blog. Rebranding sounds quite simple, but believe me… It takes so many considerations to finally do it.

Now, if you run your own business or you’ve built your self-brand and then at some point you think you need to rebrand, the whys and the hows could really take their tolls in your rebranding process.

So, at what point do you need to rebrand? And how can you do it effectively, but as efficiently as possible? These are my whys and hows!

6 Things I’ve Taught Myself That Are Beneficial for My Blog and Business

Ever since I started working from home, whenever I come across some of the acquaintances or relatives, they would begin to the small talk about how working from home treats me. While some of them had that question only for the sake of small talk, some of them would genuinely ask me how to do it.

Looking back, there are many things that I’ve taught myself only to find their benefits when I applied it to my blog and business these days. I’m not a teacher by nature, so I’ve always lost in words whenever I encountered someone who genuinely wanted to know how I did it.

I know some people who would recommend some of the online courses that benefit them, but I barely joined any specific course that I find beneficial in my career, so I usually don’t know what to say.

So in this post, I’m going to compile some of the beneficial things that I’ve taught myself. Because I figure if I can do it, then why can’t you?

7 Signs That You Probably Need to Pivot Your Career Path

In case you didn’t notice, I have recently rebranded my blog and changed the logo. It’s been a while since I thought that the previous slogan “beau-beauty-travel” is no longer relevant since I start writing more and more posts with the theme outside those topics. Now, I’ve started fresh with a new tagline: your one-stop traveltainment.

Rebranding my blog gave me the idea to write about pivoting careers in the new post. Not only that the decision to repurpose my blog is pretty much similar to the change of career path. Both are hard, but needed at some point.

You probably noticed that I like to write about various topics about working from home or blogging. That’s what I want to incorporate in the new The BeauTraveler.

I no longer just want to share my dating failure or some travel mishaps with you, but I also want to bring values for those who probably are on the shoes that I was in. And that’s when the idea of pivoting for this blog came up.

A Guide to Find an Online Job: Things You Need to Know Before You Start Applying

I’ve been on some kind of writer’s block lately. I mean, I want to write a review of some new skincare products that I’ve purchased recently, but then I got too lazy to even take a proper pic for the post. I have a new project going on, and I’m so excited to publish this later, but it’s still in the planning phase.

Due to those excuses, I decided to write about working remotely again… And this time, I want to write a simple guide to find an online job. While there are so many free online resources about working remotely, I still occasionally get questions about where and how to find opportunities to work online.

So in this post, I’d share some things I know about online job based on my experience. Especially those things you need to know and do before you start applying for that job.

Now that I’ve been both in the position where I was a job-seeker as well as an employer, I’ll share my insights on how to land your first online gigs.

Why I Freelance: Multiple Streams of Income Help Me Manage My Finances Better

I’ve spent 20 years being told that I’m just bad at financial management. I mean, my mom made it very clear so and I gotta admit that I was terrible when it comes to my money.

I had no clue how it was possible for some people to be able to save their money, because whenever I got my paycheck, my first instinct would be to spend it and I barely had nothing left by the end of the month. That was the story of my life until some time last year.

Imagine, it took me 30 years to have this awareness to save. Before then, it’s like even though I wanted to save, I often had no money to save then. The salary that I earned was like Bruno Mars’s song: easy come, easy go.

Starting last year, I’ve finally found managing my finances a bit easier, and I got better at it. So, whether you’re just starting as a freelancer, or you just wonder how we could save money from freelancing jobs… I hope my post today will help you find the answer!
