Vacationing in and around Europe can be quite dreamy, and there are lots of inspirations that can help you pick some of the best Euro travel destinations if you're a first-time traveler.
In this post, we're going to share some of the best destinations in Europe if you're not sure where to go. Let's dive in!
Best Europe Travel Highlights for Your First Euro Trip
Vienna
The first place on our list is Vienna, the capital of Austria.
This is an amazing place to visit and you should certainly check it out at least once. There have been some famous composers who have previously called Vienna home, including Mozart and Beethoven.
If you love architecture then there is a place you must see on your travels, the Belvedere Vienna is a gorgeous place. There is also an amusement park and a zoo if you love to get out and see different things.
London
Next up, London town.
There are so many things to see and do in London that you might not have enough time to do it all.
If you love heights then head right to the top of the London eye, it does take some time to get up there but the views are worth it. You can get some beautiful pictures from the top that you can treasure forever.
For those who love nature, then how about heading to all the parks that London has to offer? You also have the London aquarium and London Zoo to enhance your experience in England's capital!
Paris
Now it’s time to head to the city of love, the most romantic place you can go to.
Paris has a lot of things to see and it has recently hosted the Olympics so that is another claim to fame. When the Olympics were on in Paris, you could go and visit the Eiffel Tower where you could see the Olympic rings. They have now been removed, but you can still venture right to the top of the Eiffel Tower where the people below will look so tiny like little ants. Although if you're scared of heights, then I wouldn't recommend!
Instead, you could enjoy architecture around the French capital as Paris has beautiful buildings that should be on the top of your Europe travel highlights – including the Louvre Museum and the Arc de Triomphe.
Amsterdam
There is more to Amsterdam than the things that come to mind when you think about it.
If you love art then you can visit the Vincent Van Gogh museum to see some amazing works of art up close and personal.
You might also want to take a trip to the Anne Frank house, you can learn more about her and where she hid with her loved ones.
Amsterdam really is a fantastic place with beautiful scenery, Vondelpark will prove this when you visit.
Dublin
One of the most underrated destinations in Europe, you should definitely consider a stop in the capital of Ireland.
Here you can find lots of parties, bars, and clubs to attend. The nightlife really is something to see and experience. However, if this isn’t for you then don’t worry there are many other things to see and do.
From castles to cathedrals there really is wonderful architecture to behold. If you want to explore Dublin, you'll be surprised how there are plenty of green spaces to explore and wonder around the city!
Barcelona
Barcelona is a very out there place to visit, you have something for everyone – which is also one of the reasons why the locals have been protesting about the case of overtourism.
However, if you're curious about the Catalonian capital, then make sure to spare at least a day in Barcelona to immerse what the city has to offer. Whether you are a party animal or you like the simpler things in life, there are endless things to do in Barcelona – even if you're a budget traveler!
Barcelona is famous for the Sagrada Familia, they have towers that you can climb to get great views across the city. There is also a food market that has to be seen to be believed, they have a wide array of food and other produce.
If you are just wanting to chill out during the day then Barcelona has some amazing beaches.
Rome
Finally, another place in Europe that you must see at some point is Rome. Are you fascinated by all things related to the Romans and Gladiators? If so, then you can see it all in Rome.
Take a trip to the world famous Colosseum, where you can walk through the actual gate of death. This is where all the injured, dead, and bloody fighters would exit.
You can also visit the Colosseum during the day and at night, they will both give you very different feelings and emotions. Other things you might want to do in Rome are take a trip to the Sistine Chapel, this is such a beautiful thing to see.
Hopefully you found this list interesting and that it gave you some inspiration on your next vacation. Europe is a big place and there will always be places that are waiting to be explored and investigated by you.
