As I stated in my short profile on the sidebar of my blog, I usually add on checked-in baggage whenever I travel. Apart from back when I worked as a flight attendant, the only time I traveled with carry-on luggage was a couple of years ago when I went to Singapore for Arsenal's pre-season game on International Champion Cup.
However, I still have a few cabin luggage that I occasionally use for a short getaway. It doesn't matter that I still end up putting it on the checked-in baggage on the flight.
The point is to at least have cabin luggage, in case I have no additional budget to add the baggage for a flight like my short Singapore trip when I was broke but wanted to go for the sake of football.
And today, I'm going to talk about two cabin-sized luggage that could be your consideration for your new travel companion. Those two that I will talk about in this post is the review between Tumi Lattitude International Hardside Carry-on Luggage and NaSaDen Heidelberg Carry-on.
So, between the two, which one is better?
Cabin-Sized Travel Luggage You'd Probably Need
Since I started traveling 10 years ago, I had purchased numerous luggage in all sizes. To be fair, I've got at least 6 luggage that I still occasionally use for my trip. And if it doesn't tell you how obsessed I am with luggage, I don't know what does. 😛
Even though these days I often travel in a longer period and use the luggage in a bigger size, I still think cabin-sized travel luggage essential for me. It is perfect not only for a short getaway like the one I had in Singapore, but it's also quite convenient for a staycation or even just a trip to a supermarket. LOL.
I still find luggage more convenient since I can easily pack my stuff there, even the bulky stuff that could make it difficult when I use a travel bag instead.
So, on this occasion, I will write a head-to-head review between two of my favorite cabin-sized luggage: Tumi Lattitude International Hardside Carry-on Luggage and NaSaDen Heidelberg Carry-on.
Tumi Lattitude International Hardside Carry-on Luggage
If you ask a frequent flyer, especially those who are in a flashpacker category, chances are they'll be familiar with Tumi. It's one of the famous brands for luggage, which is popular with its luxurious reputation.
For a context, Tumi carry-on luggage costs around $750 USD. This is the 22″ cabin-sized luggage, which is suitable to travel for your short getaway.
The luggage comes with a built-in TSA lock so you don't have to buy some extra additional lock pad if you're planning to put it into the checked-in bag.
To be fair, this luggage has everything you need for. Except probably the budget, since it's still quite pricey for cabin-sized luggage. Now let's be real, with $750 USD, you can actually purchase several standard cabin-sized luggage in a different brand.

- The silky lining that makes the luggage look not only elegant but also luxurious to travel.

NaSaDen Heidelberg Carry-On
Now that we know Tumi might not be within your budget for cabin-sized luggage, it doesn't mean that you can't find an alternative to Tumi. In fact, if you do your own research, you can probably find a few alternatives that fit your budget.
NaSaDen luggage is one of them. With the price as low as $360 USD, you can get luggage with the quality as good. Even probably better in some aspects.
The size of the luggage may be a bit smaller as it's only 20″. Only 2″ smaller compared to Tumi Lattitude International Hardside Carry-on Luggage.
However, NaSaDen luggage comes with a stainless steel built-in TSA lock. To top it all, the handle and the buckle are also made of premium stainless steel, which is more longlasting compared to the plastic ones that Tumi has.

- It looks as elegant as Tumi, and it even comes with various colors that you could choose as per your liking.
- It's more affordable! With almost half of Tumi's price, but the same quality? Yes, please!

- The size is slightly smaller compared to Tumi, as it's only 20″.
- Since the brand is less popular compared to Tumi, the safest thing you could get the luggage is to shop it through e-commerce like Amazon.
Tumi Lattitude International Hardside Carry-on Luggage VS NaSaDen Heidelberg Carry-on
To be fair, it's so hard not to choose NaSaDen Heidelberg Carry-on as I'm the kind of consumer who is really price sensitive. I mean, luggage with half the price but similar quality and even better? I'd choose it anytime! 😀
