This capital city is a vast, modern, and incredibly unique place. It's the heart of technological development, cultural history, and fascinating sights in Japan. And not just that, because Tokyo is the best city to visit when you travel with kids.
You should try to catch one of the wonderful cherry blossom festivals whilst you’re in the city. Cherry blossom trees are iconic in Japan, they mark the end of winter and the start of spring.
Head to either Ueno Onshi Park or Asukayama Park to attend one of the fantastic festivals that celebrates these stunning trees. Obviously, you'll need to head there at springtime.
You should also head to the Meiji Shrine in Shibuya to learn a little something about the cultural history of Japan. This is a shrine to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. It’s also a very popular temple for its astounding architecture and its wonderful natural setting.
