You don't need a lot of stuff when going on a holiday. You might think at that moment that you don't have enough, but that's rarely the case. Once you arrive, you will want to wear the same few pieces over and over again. At least that's what some people do. Besides, you don't want to drag heavy suitcases all the time, do you?
It doesn’t matter if you're staying for a long time. You can always buy more stuff from the place you're visiting. Write on a list of all the essentials that you might need. Everything else, leave it at home.

After you arrive at the unknown destination, don't just sit around in your hotel admiring the view from your windows. Go outside and visit all of the trademarks that the place has to offer. You might learn something new and exciting, as well as take pictures and later on brag to your friends.
