A Must-Visit Spot in Ho Chi Minh City: Bitexco Saigon Skydeck & The World of Heineken

It wasn’t my first visit to Vietnam or Ho Chi Minh City, so I didn’t have an exact itinerary this time. I’ve done some of the must-do and must-visit spots in the city from the Water Puppet Show to War Remnants Museum.

So instead, I just tried to wing it when I was there. And that’s when I decided to stop by Bitexco Financial Tower after strolling around District 1 on my first day in the city.

To be fair, I started late at around 1 PM on my first day. And since I didn’t have a fixed itinerary about what I had to do or visit, I decided to just go to some coffee shop and some cafe. Of course, I had ca phe sua da, because ca phe sua da is life in Vietnam. 😛

I wandered around the area until around 3 PM, I decided to just go to Bitexco Financial Tower. Bitexco Saigon Skydeck seems to be one of the places on the must-visit list in Vietnam. But if I gotta be honest with you, in the beginning, I wasn’t really interested in visiting the place.

I always thought that it was the kind of place that is overhyped and probably overpriced too. I didn’t even do any research about the entrance fee in advance. I went go-show for this, and I’m glad I did.

Novia Hotel Saigon: A Unique, Affordable (Love) Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Hi everyone! 🙂

For those who follow me on Instagram, you may have already watched one of my Instastories about this hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel that intrigued me prior to booking it, with an exceptional welcome greeting when I got there, only to be surprised when I arrived in the hotel room.

And if you happened to be one of those people who asked me to spill the tea about the hotel, here’s the answer: it’s Novia Hotel.

A likely love hotel where you could actually spend some time to fulfill your fantasy, because they have a lot of themed rooms. From something as innocent as Hello Kitty and Doraemon, to some sex fantasy like BDSM. 😛

So, what kind of room did I get and how was my stay there?! Well, I’ll write the review here. So let’s see!

What You Could Get in Ho Chi Minh City for $10 – Vietnamese Coffee and So Much More!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

How has everyone been on this holiday season?! How many people in the family that annoy me this time? 😛

Anyway, this Christmas marks the second year since I spent Christmas in Vietnam 2 years ago. I spent Christmas eve in the capital city Hanoi, but I had some memorable things in HCMC. From a sudden date in Saigon to randomly met a fellow cat lady at Chatime. So random, but damn I’ve made some long last friendship now that we still like each other’s post on Facebook! 😛

This is why I was super excited when I got connected to Jackie and Justin from Life of Doing. Especially when they told me they would like to cover HCMC or Saigon for this $10 series. And it’s such a sweet coincidence now that I get to schedule it to publish it a day after Christmas. Happy Boxing Day, everyone! 😀

A Sudden Date in Saigon

If you love traveling and you happen to be single, I suggest you to not only use Couchsurfing to find some traveling partner but also to create an account of some online dating site and actually put some time in your itinerary to meet up and have a sudden date.

That’s what I’ve done in Ho Chi Minh City. And it was a blast!

I decided to give the online dating site a try when I landed in Hanoi for some reason: love can be found anytime and anywhere. If the online dating site is the answer, then be it.
