Which One is More Stressful: Climbing the Corporate Ladder or Becoming an Entrepreneur?

Which One is More Stressful: Climbing the Corporate Ladder or Becoming an Entrepreneur?

Anyone who has ever tried climbing the corporate ladder and challenged their luck in becoming an entrepreneur will know the answer. Both are stressful in a totally different way!

While both bring some perks that you can’t get from the other, there are some setbacks about choosing one over the other. Climbing the corporate ladder gives you some kind of stability. Becoming an entrepreneur will give you a chance to make your dream come true. But really, which one is more stressful?

Now, you know I’m not the kind of person who will strongly recommend you to quit your job and travel to start whatever business is… But I’ve been in both situations. Stressing over a corporate job, and dying to figure out how to make things work for my business.

So in this post, I will talk about it… The stress you may get from both sides!

June 2021: What Has Happened to Me So Far in 2021

For those who usually stalk my blog every other day, you probably know that I usually write down my new year’s resolution here and review it every June to see how close I get to my goals or whether I give up yet. LOL.

Last year, I didn’t get a chance to write down my new year’s resolution as I got a bit busy with some other stuff that I couldn’t even think of goals to achieve this year. With the pandemic going, it’s even harder for me to think of something to motivate me for the year. Besides, I already mentioned some wishes I’ve got for the next decade a few years ago. So I guess that counts. LOL.

But this time, June almost ends, and I think it’s only fair to keep myself checked on how my life goes without any resolutions this year. Recently, I’ve made some life changes that I’m not even sure whether it would work well for me. But just like every time, I’m just trying to wing it and hope for the best.

So, what has happened in 2021 so far?!

6 Ridiculous Beliefs I’m Grateful I Stopped Believing Before I Turned 30

If you’ve been reading my blog for quite some time now, you might understand that most of the content is related to the transition from being a confused young woman in her 20’s to a somewhat content woman in her early 30’s.

A few days after my 30th birthday, I compiled a list of songs related to my life when I turned 30. I even got some time to write about the differences between dating in my 20’s and 30’s just to prove my point.

Now that it’s been a while since the last time I wrote a piece about my life, I’ve come to an idea of writing about things that I believed in the past and how grateful I am that I’ve stopped believing now that I’m in my 30’s.

So, what are these ridiculous beliefs that I used to have until my 20’s?

Dirty Thirty Mixtape: 30 Theme Songs of My 30th Year Living in This World

In case you didn’t know, last Monday was my 30th birthday. If you remember that episode of Friends where everybody turned 30, well… I gotta admit that it was only a little stressful.

Like honestly, I didn’t think much about how old I am now. I think much about how I am 30 and still not rich enough to buy stuff without checking the price. But anyway…

So, in this opportunity, marking the early days of my dirty thirty, I’m creating a mixtape of the songs that basically sum up my life in the past 30 years. And just so you know, I’m no longer 30 and single. Just 30.

Some Life Lesson That I’ve Learned in 2018

Time flies so fast that the next thing I know, it’s already December!

I started my 2018 with grief as Disco, my 12-year-old cat, had to go back and forth to the vet due to tuberculosis. He didn’t make it to my 29th birthday as he died on the 24th of January this year.

This year has been up and down, that’s for sure. The first few months in this year was quite challenging for me, with me quitting my office job last year with no sign of constant income whatever. Externally, with me getting older, my peers would expect me to have the life as everyone else: create my own family.
