Tune Hotel KLIA Aeropolis: How It Is and What You Need to Know

Tune Hotel KLIA Aeropolis: How It Is and What You Need to Know

Before the pandemic hit, KLIA had become my preferred airport to have a short layover for some of my international flights. Despite Changi’s popularity in Singapore, I never really enjoyed having a transit there as everything felt so pricey in Singapore. On the other hand, Kuala Lumpur is three times cheaper, and the airport is big enough to people-watching even though it’s not exactly a shopping haven or any place that is effective to kill boredom while waiting for your next flight.

I can’t remember how many hotels around Sepang area where I spent a night or two in Kuala Lumpur for my flights. I wrote about Capsule by Container, which is currently known as CapsuleTransit Airport Hotel in KLIA2. I also had an article about Bary Inn Hotel for when I waited for my flight to Ho Chi Minh City with Vietnam Airlines.

Other than the hotels that I wrote about, I also stayed in some others long before I started this blog. I remember, once I stayed at Sri Langit Hotel, a hotel close to Kuala Lumpur National Airport with an aircraft concept in their rooms. It was quite a nice, not-so-pricey hotel to stay for a night.

And as mentioned the other day, I missed my flight to Jakarta from Kuala Lumpur that forced me to extend my stay in Malaysia for one more day. Since I was too lazy to even spend 50 MYR to leave the airport, I decided to find a room in one of the few airport hotels available around KLIA/KLIA2. And this time, I got a chance to stay at Tune Hotel KLIA Aeropolis.

The Worst Staycation Experience at Horison Green Forest Bandung - The BeauTraveler

The Worst Staycation Experience at Horison Green Forest Bandung

Actually, it’s been half a year since I had a staycation at Horison Green Forest Bandung. The reason why it took so long for me to write the review of my experience was that… I had it so bad that I wasn’t even sure whether it was worth the effort to write about it.

I got a chance to have a staycation at several hotels in Bandung. From Chez Bon Hostel, the budget hostel where my late uncle used to own the place a couple of years ago to hotels like Blackbird Hotel and the legendary Savoy Homann. By far, my experience at Horison Green Forest Bandung has been the worst staycation that I’ve ever had in my hometown.

Honestly, I only decided to write my review of the hotel as I had a chat with Gema the other day, and he also told me that he had a bad experience staying at Green Forest…

So, what does make the property so bad?

The Best Hotel Around Siam Road, Penang: SO Hotel vs Ink Hotel

After arriving safely in Penang from Hat Yai in Thailand, despite getting dropped off in the middle of nowhere by the bus driver, I managed to purchase a Malaysian sim card in the nearest convenience store to book a Grab car to Siam Road in Penang.

Initially, I booked a room at SO Hotel at Siam Road until a couple of days later I passed by Ink Hotel on the same road that made me extend my stay only to compare which hotel is the best in the area.

I know, now that I actually mentioned it… My decision was quite impulsive because I did it just to have something to talk about in a blog post. So this time, I want to compare the experience when I stayed at SO Hotel and Ink Hotel.

So, which hotel is the best around Siam Road in Penang?

Review: Two Moons Hotel Kampot in Cambodia

Hi everyone!

I had been quite swarmed up with work in the past few days that I didn’t even have time to start writing about more things for my last Indochina trip. Now that it’s Saturday night and work has been quite slow, I’m so glad that I could finally get back to my writing mood!

So, after my last few post on the mini bus from Ha Tien to Kampot, this time I’m gonna share with you my firsthand experience of staying at Two Moons Hotel in Kampot. The hotel was the accommodation I chose to stay for 3 nights in town.

Well, how was my stay in Two Moons Hotel? Let’s check this out!

Hotel Around KLIA/KLIA2: Bary Inn Hotel, an Affordable Place for a Short Layover Near Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Hi everyone!

As some of you probably know, I’m currently on the Indochina trip that I had been longing for so long. And for exactly the same reason, I kept procrastinating to update my blog post with fresh content about my current journey. Like, I’ve had plenty of stories to tell yet I’m too lazy to start one, to begin with. What is life?! 😛

So, now that I’m in the mood to actually work, I decided to finally start my first post covering a piece of my journey.

And the first post would be a review about a hotel where I stayed for my short layover in Kuala Lumpur before heading to Saigon the next day. If you know me personally and you’ve talked about traveling with me in person, then you probably know that Kuala Lumpur is my favorite city to have a layover for so many different reasons.

One of them would be the option to pick a place to crash during a layover for a good price. So, after reviewing Capsule by Container in KLIA2, this time I’m going to review one of the hotels around KLIA/KLIA2 that could be your next choice for a layover in Kuala Lumpur.

It is a convenient place to stay with an affordable nightly rate. What more do you need?
