First Time Staying at an Airbnb in Brunei: EZ Lodgings, Bandar Seri Begawan

So, in case you haven’t read my previous post on my last Borneo trip, my main destination for the trip is actually Brunei Darussalam. Not only that I wanted to go to Brunei as I have to tick off this country from my bucket list, but also because I’ve got an old friend there to visit. 😉

My first time in Brunei became the first thing for me to do something else: staying at an Airbnb.

I know, some of you might wonder where I have been all the time that I never used the platform before as I’ve traveled. However, despite creating my account in the platform a long time ago, my first experience staying at Airbnb was on the trip to Brunei.

In Brunei, I stayed at EZ Lodgings, located around 15 minutes drive from the city center in Bandar Seri Begawan. For this, I got recommended by Suzie ever since we started talking about my plan to visit her in Brunei.

Beauty on Borneo Trip: What I’ve Packed Beyond the Clothes to Borneo

Hello, everyone! 😀

So, today marks the first week I’ve been on the road in Borneo. I’m currently in Kuching, a city in Sarawak, the eastern part of Malaysia. My trip has been great so far, despite I had to deal with the heavy raining in some places that I visited. But overall, everything has been great for me.

As I made a poll a few weeks ago about whether I should post something about what I’ve packed for a month trip in Borneo and the response was positive, and now that I’ve got some time to kill after strolling around the city… Let me share with you what I’ve got!

Travel Fashionably From Head To Toe Around South East Asia

In case you’re not familiar with my traveling style, my traveling style is something in-between a budget traveler and not-so luxurious one.

I mean, I’m totally fine with the idea of staying at a cheap motel with a small room as long as I could get a quality time through doing my makeup without any disruption. I’m not exactly the kind of person who would ask for a pic anytime I see a good stop for the ‘gram, but clothes and makeup are the essential things for me to travel comfortably.

I’m not exactly fashionable, as I’m kind of a sucker when it comes to the idea of mix and match things I’ve got in my clothes. However, I’m not exactly a t-shirt and jeans kind of person either.

So, if you could relate to the situation and you’re planning to travel around South East Asia, let me share with you the tips and trick on how to travel fashionably in this part of the world! 😉

How To Travel Smart in ASEAN Countries

As you know, it’s pretty rare to find me writing a post with such a short title like this, but here I am. This time, I want to share some tips about how to travel smart in ASEAN countries because, who’s a better person to tell you if not me, someone who’s a part of the tribes?

And for those who are not familiar with ASEAN, then let me tell you a piece of my knowledge. ASEAN stands for the Association of South East Asian Nation, an intergovernmental organization in this part of the world. And no matter how our people say otherwise, we’re pretty much similar from one and another.

I mean, if we’re so different, then why the heck people looked at me as if I was a trashy Filipino who could barely speak Tagalog in Manila?
