Review: Lhamour Mongolia Charcoal and Pine Tar Soap

If you read the last post on Around The World With The Beauties, you may be familiar with Lhamour Mongolia already. As I mentioned in the post, I actually got some other products from Lhamour that I’m still yet to try. And the new one that I just initially tried is their soap bar.

At first, I wasn’t so sure whether the soap was actually used for body or face. But then as I read their official website and I found that we can also use it for our face, I tried it as the facial wash instead.

My consideration is the ingredients with activated charcoal that it seems to be effective for oily and acne-prone skin. And lately, I got some problem with acne on my face too. I figure, maybe it’s the best time to try. Especially now that I’m so obsessed with any organic beauty products!

Around The World With The Beauties! – (Mongolia) Lhamour Nettle Hair Oil & (South Korea) Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask Green Tea

Hello everyone! 😀

First of all, I apologize for it’s been almost a semester since the last time I published something for this supposed-to-be monthly feature.

Here’s the thing, I realized that it’s quite challenging to find some beauty bloggers to collaborate for this series. I mean, based on my experiment, I suppose it’s more difficult to collaborate with beauty bloggers compared to travel bloggers. Prove me wrong, but that’s all I’ve got.

So anyway, now I’m not gonna make this Around The World With The Beauties a monthly feature. Instead, I will feature some beauty stuff once in a while when either I have something new to share or I have some fellow blogger who is willing to collaborate with me for this series.

Today, I’m going to share with you two beauty products from two countries in the eastern part of Asia: Mongolia and South Korea.

Why I Never Take Any Blogging Course and Why I Don’t Want My Blog to Hit Success Overnight

A few days ago, one of the members on the blogging communities that I’m in shared the post on Medium that has now been deleted. In case you didn’t know some recent news in blogging communities, it was about this influencer who was accused of scamming through her Instagram course.

It’s been a while since the last time I wrote something about blogging here, so I guess I’ll do it now that it’s a hot trending topic. At least through blogging communities.

No, I’m not going to tell you that all blogging courses are scams. Clearly, because I’ve never taken any course myself.

Instead, I’m going to share with you why I’ve never joined any of the courses out there despite the fact that blogging is one of my main activities right now. Also, why I take it slow when it comes to blogging on my platform.

Review: Freeman Polishing Charcoal and Black Sugar (Gel Mask+Scrub)

A few weeks before I started my Borneo trip, I met up with Vindya and Steffi, two of my #girlsquad from back when I was in the university. So one of the topics we had beside the wonder of why we’re all single is about skincare.

At that point, Vindya recommended this Freeman mask as she claimed that the mask could actually make her face so smooth like a baby’s ass. In which I responded that I’m not going to buy a skincare only to make my face feel like ass. 😛

So, here’s the reason why I’m not really that confident to call myself a beauty blogger: I’m quite ignorant when it comes to any product that is actually worth the hype. Apparently, this Freeman mask has been quite trending lately.

“It’s not available yet in the drugstore in Indonesia, but guess what… You can purchase it in Malaysia!”, said Vindya.
