Hi everyone!
How's everyone doing despite the fact that April is approaching and then you've realized that time flies so fast?!
It's Wednesday again, and you know what's on Wednesday? On Wednesday, we wear pink… Nah. I'm not really referring to Mean Girls on that case, but it's Wednesday and it's time for you read yet another piece for What You Could Get In The City For $10! 😉
And this Wednesday, I would like especially thank Julia from Meandering Mountain Mermaid to take some time to share with us about how you could spend $10 in Denver, Colorado.
Are you curious? Then, check this one out! 😀
Traveling with a Partner in Denver? How about some dance?
The city of Denver, Colorado, also known as the Mile High City, has a plethora of incredible experiences to immerse yourself in while visiting!
Luckily, there are a number of wonderful activities for under $10.00 that can be done, yet dancing salsa at Denver’s Highland Masonic Temple and Event Center is arguably the most fun and most enjoyable!
For $10.00, at only $5.00 per person, you can swing by the largest building in the Highland neighborhood every Tuesday and join in after the Black Belt Salsa lessons (all levels of experience welcome!).
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to have your adrenaline pumping as you and your partner dance the night away until closing hour at midnight!
It’s a great social experience (not to mention great cardio), as you switch partners throughout the night and learn different moves from all different levels of dancers!
If you want to take a lesson beforehand also, get there early at 7:30pm, and for an extra $15.00, you can learn the basics of salsa and bachata from Edie the Salsa Freak!
Everyone there makes you feel welcome, whether you’re a seasoned Salsera/Salsero, or just a basic beginner.
Social Dancing is a wonderful experience, and there’s no better place to do it with only a $5.00 cover charge, every Tuesday at 9:00pm. It’s an experience you definitely won’t forget in the Mile High City!

Ok so because you did spout a Mean Girls reference at the beginning of the post, you got me. I need to follow your blog now. Also, I really like your idea of finding cool things to do in different places for only $10 or less. Who knew you could go to a dance class for only $10 for you and your partner!

Fun post! Dancing really isn’t my thing but for the price i’d totally give it a go! Haha
What a fun , outside the usual ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! That’s a great price for a dance lesson class! I am not that much into salsa but even I would join if I were in the city.
Would have never thought of attending social dancing while traveling, but why not 🙂
I’m going to Denver next month and this was so helpful! Thanks a lot
What an awesome idea!! Love a bargain, I do 😉 Denver sounds like a great place, and this just adds to the many reasons to go! Thanks for the tip 🙂
Oh my gosh, this looks like so much fun! I don’t think it would have occurred to me to give Salsa dancing a try when traveling, but this looks great. Thanks for the idea!
I always wanted to try this since I moved to Spain, your article reminded me about the fact that I have to start taking classes hehe!
Really good idea for a post! I will be going to Denver this summer so I will save this one!
