What You Could Get in Lahore for $10 – How to Explore Pakistan’s Cultural Capital on the Budget

Happy New Year!

This is the first $10 series in 2021, and I'm so excited that I can actually share a place that I could connect with personally.

If in 2020 we covered Dubrovnik in Croatia that I could relate because it has been on my bucket list since I was 10, this time we're going to cover a city that I've been to multiple times during my flying days, but I unfortunately never got a chance to see the place outside the airport. It's Lahore in Pakistan.

I can't remember how many flights I had turnaround flight to Lahore from Saudi Arabia a few years back when I worked as a flight attendant, but I'm glad that in this new year, Samantha of Intentional Detours will be sharing how you could explore the cultural capital of Pakistan on the budget!

So, what could you get in Lahore for $10?

Ice Cream Around the World You Should Stop By and Try

Hi everyone!

Do you know that the 19th of July is actually celebrated as Ice Cream's Day in the United States, thanks to their 40th president Ronald Reagan?

Well, I wasn't aware of such a celebration day either until last month when I planned out my content calendar and found out this fun fact. As a result, I decided to invite some fellow bloggers to contribute their piece about their favorite ice cream around the world since my last collab post about instant noodles was quite a success!

It's summer in most parts of the world, and ice cream always sounds like a great idea under the heat. But then again, who am I kidding? It's still a good idea to enjoy in the winter too, so why don't we start talking about ice cream around the world now on Ice Cream's Day?

Review: Malindo Air (A Flight from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore)

Just when I wanted to highly recommend Malindo Air for any flight in Southeast Asia region, I just found out that Malindo has recently changed their policy in terms of free baggage and onboard meals.

So, after my Borneo trip ended, I flew to Singapore with Malindo Air from Kota Kinabalu. And I suppose this was one of the last Malindo flights before they changed the policy. Now that they've got a new policy with a few flight options, I'm still going to write a review of my flight anyway.

I've also checked the price with each package to compare with my last experience flying with Malindo. So, would I still recommend you to fly with Malindo around ASEAN countries? Here's the review for this Malindo Air! 🙂
