How to Find a Signature Brand Voice for Your Blog

I spent last weekend dealing with my blog as my blog layout got all scattered and all over the place. After I finished redesigning the theme and all that, the redirection from my old permalink has gone wrong. November wasn’t an excellent start for The BeauTraveler, I figure.

Initially, I wanted to continue my Indochina trip post last weekend, but since I had to deal with all the back-end stuff for my blog, I decided to do it later. And instead, I want to write about blogging again this time.

And today, I want to share the tips to find your signature brand voice for your blog, because I think your brand voice is essential as this will make you stand out among others no matter how saturated you think your niche is.

I know for sure that not everyone likes the way I write or the brand voice I have for this blog. I’ve been criticized a lot for the way I deliver stories or information. Or guess what? The incorrect grammar I use in the post. As if English isn’t my third language!

Ice Cream Around the World You Should Stop By and Try

Hi everyone!

Do you know that the 19th of July is actually celebrated as Ice Cream’s Day in the United States, thanks to their 40th president Ronald Reagan?

Well, I wasn’t aware of such a celebration day either until last month when I planned out my content calendar and found out this fun fact. As a result, I decided to invite some fellow bloggers to contribute their piece about their favorite ice cream around the world since my last collab post about instant noodles was quite a success!

It’s summer in most parts of the world, and ice cream always sounds like a great idea under the heat. But then again, who am I kidding? It’s still a good idea to enjoy in the winter too, so why don’t we start talking about ice cream around the world now on Ice Cream’s Day?

What I’ve Learned from Long-Distance Relationship: Things that Work and Things that Don’t

I’m not saying I’m an expert at long-distance relationships, but I was in a few relationships where I had to be apart from my (now ex) boyfriend. It’s like, I knew that long-distance relationships would be hard, but damn I fell for the guys who live a thousand miles over and over again.

In my last relationship, we had to do long-distance since my ex is doing his PhD in the Netherlands. A few years before then, I was also in a relationship with someone who lived in Istanbul when I was based in Jeddah.

I know too well it’s challenging, it’s just that… When you know, you know the right person for you. It doesn’t really matter if you end up to be with them forever or they’re just there for lessons.

Some Tools and Resources I’ve Been Using to Work From Home

Recently, I made a poll about whether I should write about my everyday life or tools and resources I’ve been using to work from home… The latter got 69% vote, and I swear the number wasn’t like that on purpose. LOL.

Because of this, I’ve compiled a list of tools and platforms that are helpful for me since the first day of my work-from-home journey. Mind you, some of the platforms I’ve been using might also be the regular thing in your everyday life. But then again, maybe you didn’t know how to leverage it into a few bucks for some extra cash.

So I guess this post is here. Just a heads up though, I’m not so good at making a tutorial like a career coach or whatever. But I suppose I’m not so bad at explaining things for dummies. If you’re here, then I hope you’re a dummy that is looking forward to your betterment in some way. And moreover, hope this would help you too… Here we go!
