AirAsia Premium Red Lounge: Is It Worth Upgrading Your Flight Ticket?

AirAsia Premium Red Lounge: Is It Worth Upgrading Your Flight Ticket?

As someone who used to work for AirAsia years ago, I had to admit that I always tried to be as vigilant as I could be when it comes to the benefits that I could get from purchasing any of their products. Call me petty, but I spent my early 20s trying to absorb their product knowledge, and I still missed out on a thing or two that made me lose both temper and money.

From dealing with some irritating passengers (a guy from the House of Representative of the Republic of Indonesia once threw money on my face simply because he didn’t want to pay for freaking IDR 25,000 – around $2 USD – for a check-in service fee!) to even missing the payment for some excessed baggage that made me have to pay from my own salary!

Only when I already resigned, I finally realized the benefits of knowing their product knowledge by heart. That’s why I didn’t even bother to freak out when I missed my flight from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta on my last trip. At the time, I just booked a room at Tune Hotel Aeropolis KLIA and then another flight ticket for the next day. I rarely upgrade my flight ticket, but since I was flying from Kuala Lumpur at the time, I decided to upgrade it to Premium Flex since I got a chance to experience their AirAsia Premium Red Lounge at KLIA2 terminal.

So, is it worth upgrading the flight ticket?

The Worst Staycation Experience at Horison Green Forest Bandung

Actually, it’s been half a year since I had a staycation at Horison Green Forest Bandung. The reason why it took so long for me to write the review of my experience was that… I had it so bad that I wasn’t even sure whether it was worth the effort to write about it.

I got a chance to have a staycation at several hotels in Bandung. From Chez Bon Hostel, the budget hostel where my late uncle used to own the place a couple of years ago to hotels like Blackbird Hotel and the legendary Savoy Homann. By far, my experience at Horison Green Forest Bandung has been the worst staycation that I’ve ever had in my hometown.

Honestly, I only decided to write my review of the hotel as I had a chat with Gema the other day, and he also told me that he had a bad experience staying at Green Forest…

So, what does make the property so bad?

5 Ways to Create Multiple Streams of Income That Work For Me

By all means, I’m not a financial consultant, nor am I good in numbers. But yesterday, I just had a conversation with a realtor who offered me some options for accommodation for my next trip that I’m comfortable.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have the Queen’s privilege for sure (don’t blame me, I’m currently in the midst of watching The Crown, and the news about the late Prince Philip kinda brought the anecdote!)… But looking back, I realized that I got more opportunities to choose things than a few years ago.

For one thing, I know that the fact that I currently have multiple streams of income has really changed the perspective. If there’s anything that I’ve learned the hard way, it is the fact that to have money, one has to have money first. Not that I belittle the art of working hard, it’s just that I’ve learned the hard way that sometimes being a hard worker is not enough to give you opportunities you deserve.

How to Find a Signature Brand Voice for Your Blog

I spent last weekend dealing with my blog as my blog layout got all scattered and all over the place. After I finished redesigning the theme and all that, the redirection from my old permalink has gone wrong. November wasn’t an excellent start for The BeauTraveler, I figure.

Initially, I wanted to continue my Indochina trip post last weekend, but since I had to deal with all the back-end stuff for my blog, I decided to do it later. And instead, I want to write about blogging again this time.

And today, I want to share the tips to find your signature brand voice for your blog, because I think your brand voice is essential as this will make you stand out among others no matter how saturated you think your niche is.

I know for sure that not everyone likes the way I write or the brand voice I have for this blog. I’ve been criticized a lot for the way I deliver stories or information. Or guess what? The incorrect grammar I use in the post. As if English isn’t my third language!
