What You Could Get In Lugano For $10 – Some Affordable Tour Options in the Expensive Country

When I started following football years ago, it was the first time I started getting some interests in foreign currency. Like, I never really cared about how much $1 USD in my local currency IDR before then.

Back in the days, I remember that the most expensive football player was Zinedine Zidane when he got transferred from Juventus to Real Madrid. Then, I still relied on that kind of information through tabloid as the internet was still pricey around that time.

But one thing that I knew back then, it was the fact that the Swiss currency, Swiss Franc or CHF, is slightly higher than USD. I mean, FIFA as the football federation itself has the headquarter based in Zurich. So it’s no brainer to find out about this back then.

Now, now… I’m not going to talk about Zurich, as I connected to Augusta from Mini Me Explorer, because on this week’s $10 series, we’re going to cover another city in Switzerland: Lugano.

What You Could Get In Ubud For $10 – From Taking Some Photos for the Gram to Pampering Yourself in the Heart of Bali

Back to the $10 series, everyone! 😀

And this time, we’re going to talk about a place that is so close yet so far from me. Why so?!

Well, in case you didn’t know, Bali is still on my bucket list of 30 things to do before turning 30 despite the fact that I’m actually living in Bandung, a city which literally only takes 2-hour flight to Bali.

Anyway, I’m planning out to go to Bali (after the last few attempts) for my 30th birthday in a few months. And just like everyone who’s heading to the island, Ubud is also one of the destinations that I’m planning to go during my first visit to Bali.

Now, now… Thanks to Cat from Walk My World, this week we’re gonna touch the topic about how you could spend your $10 in Ubud. Keep in mind that nowadays IDR is weakening towards the USD so there’s a chance you could even get more things around there at this time of the year. 😉

What You Could Get In Ljubljana For $10 – Some Alternatives to Spend Your Dollar Apart from Some Glass of Laško

Let’s get back to Balkan again on this week’s $10 series! 😉

If you read some of my old posts, you probably know by now that I’m particularly interested in this area as I did some research about what happened there during Yugoslav era. Well, after we covered Zagreb a few months ago, it’s time for us to cover another area in Balkan! 😉

You see, some normies out there might probably mistake Slovenia from Slovakia. So let’s be clear here, now that we’re covering Ljubljana, it is the capital city of Slovenia. NOT Slovakia.

If you asked me how to tell the difference between the two countries, let’s go back to the 80s… Back then, Slovenia was a part of Yugoslavia, while Slovakia was half of Czechoslovakia. This might be more interesting, as our contributor for this post is actually a Czech, Tereza from Czick On The Road.
