Review: Etude House Any Cushion All Day Perfect / Lucky Puppy Case Collection

Reading Time: 5 minutes

Hello, the beautravelers! 😀

It’s been awhile since the last time I actually wrote a post related to beauty section on my blog, but anyway… I owe a post on this Etude House Any Cushion All Day Perfect to April Magazine. It’s about time since it’s April and the magazine is probably named after this month!

So, in case you’re not familiar with April Magazine, it is an online magazine of East & South East Asian women like me. And their mission is very clear: to promote role models, to share ideas, and to raise the voices of Asian women in the English media scene.

And in case you think that it is exclusively for Asian women, then you’re wrong…

Because even if you’re not an Asian woman, they believe that listening to our stories will help us to grow further. So, check out April Magazine if you want to find out more about the stories of Asian women in general! Please help us to remove the stigma or anything that is way too stereotypical for Asian women. 🙂

Okay, so it’s long overdue but I won their giveaway in February, my birthday month. And just like some of you probably could guess, the giveaway is this Etude House Any Cushion!

Some Things That People Don’t Tell You About Gaining Weight

Reading Time: 5 minutes

“Oh my God, I’m getting fat.”

That’s the phrase that I heard way too many times as one fit lady from my previous work always complained about this every day.

Not that I’m being a sour ass lady as I’ve always been, but she was being a bitch for saying that when clearly I was a whole lot thicker than she was and she said it during lunch when she only had salad and I tried to enjoy the full course of Indonesian meals.

I mean, there should be a law to make this action illegal because not only it’s hurtful for those who are on my shoes, but it seems like this action is still supported by so many. Why? Because this kind of conversation is usually followed by some random skinny girl who would say, “Yes, I also need to get on diet.”

I was either surrounded by some ungrateful women, or it was just me being a sour bitch as I’ve always been.

Just like a mature lady, I never really talked back when this conversation came up? Not because I didn’t want to, but because I was secretly hoping these ladies could shut up so I could enjoy my food without this kind of obstacles.

Dating ‘The Nice Guy’ vs ‘The Bad Boy’ In Your 20s

Reading Time: 5 minutes

Okay, now you all know that I’m a serial dater, you may be curious about the difference between dating the nice guy and the bad boy… And if you’re not curious, then it’s fine because I’m gonna write about this topic anyway. 😛

I only started dating since I was in the 12th year of high school, but ever since then, I’ve pretty much dated most types of the guy. Started by an asshole who cheated on me with 2 other girls, to some good guy whom my mom loved so much to the point she kept wondering what was actually wrong in our relationship.

Looking at the fact that I’m single, of course we all know that I’m not an expert at dating. But experience-wise, at least I could tell you all the differences between dating what society considers ‘nice guy’ and ‘bad boy’ in our 20s.
