Review: Eyebrow Threading & Brazilian Waxing at Waxhaus 23 Paskal Bandung

Do you shave or wax?

Well, I used to shave everything from my eyebrows to my pubic hair. That, until I decided to start waxing around 3 years ago in Jakarta. Ever since, knowing that it totally stings to wax after having your hair previously shaved, I never really look back to the shaving option ever again.

That, until after Asian Games 2018 finished last year when I moved back to Bandung for good. Despite the fact I’m originally from Bandung, I had never waxed anywhere in the city. But since the chance would be rare for me to occasionally go to Jakarta, I decided to find a new wax parlor where I could have my eyebrows and hair down there done.

During my time in Jakarta, I usually went to N’s Sugar Waxing since it’s located close to my place in South Jakarta. After googling some information about waxing place in Bandung, I found out about Waxhaus.

I went to Waxhaus for eyebrow threading and Brazilian waxing earlier this year before going to Singapore. And recently, I came back for the same procedure.

Review: Lhamour Mongolia Charcoal and Pine Tar Soap

If you read the last post on Around The World With The Beauties, you may be familiar with Lhamour Mongolia already. As I mentioned in the post, I actually got some other products from Lhamour that I’m still yet to try. And the new one that I just initially tried is their soap bar.

At first, I wasn’t so sure whether the soap was actually used for body or face. But then as I read their official website and I found that we can also use it for our face, I tried it as the facial wash instead.

My consideration is the ingredients with activated charcoal that it seems to be effective for oily and acne-prone skin. And lately, I got some problem with acne on my face too. I figure, maybe it’s the best time to try. Especially now that I’m so obsessed with any organic beauty products!

Around The World With The Beauties! – (Mongolia) Lhamour Nettle Hair Oil & (South Korea) Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask Green Tea

Hello everyone! 😀

First of all, I apologize for it’s been almost a semester since the last time I published something for this supposed-to-be monthly feature.

Here’s the thing, I realized that it’s quite challenging to find some beauty bloggers to collaborate for this series. I mean, based on my experiment, I suppose it’s more difficult to collaborate with beauty bloggers compared to travel bloggers. Prove me wrong, but that’s all I’ve got.

So anyway, now I’m not gonna make this Around The World With The Beauties a monthly feature. Instead, I will feature some beauty stuff once in a while when either I have something new to share or I have some fellow blogger who is willing to collaborate with me for this series.

Today, I’m going to share with you two beauty products from two countries in the eastern part of Asia: Mongolia and South Korea.

Around The World With The Beauties! – (UK) Beauty Kitchen Abyssinian Oil Aroma Facial Concentrate & Organic Shop Nourishing Hair Care

Hello beautravelers! 😀

Back again to my very monthly feature Around The World With The Beauties, and now that we’ve had a few local beauty products reviewed here by the locals from countries like Indonesia or even Malta, you know what’s missing?

Yup, yup… I know, where are the local beauty products from some big countries like England or America?!

Well, although we need to hold on to have some American local beauty products to be featured, this month we will talk about 2 recommended local beauty products from the United Kingdom. After all, it’s the Royal Wedding Week! 🙂

And for this, thanks to Lucy from Lucy Dorling Beauty Blog and Naomi from Beauty Addict Mama to let me feature their favorite local beauty products here. In this opportunity, Lucy would recommend Beauty Kitchen Abyssinian Oil Aroma Facial Concentrate, while Naomi has Organic Shop Nourishing Hair Care to talk about.

So, what’s so special about these British beauty products then?

Hi again, beautravelers! 😀

Now that Around The World With The Beauties has become the monthly feature on the blog, I really hope you still stay tuned for the new feature every month.

For those who get left a little behind, friendly reminder that this feature will be published on the third Tuesday every month. And pretty much like the previous posts, we’re still talking about some recommended local beauty products from around the world.

So, if you’re a beauty enthusiast who loves to travel the world, get some new knowledge on what beauty brand that you should look up whenever you’re planning to go to some new destination! 😉

This time, thanks to Czech Republic’s Dana from DFashion who contributed to a recommendation of Slovakian beauty product Soaphoria’s lip balm and Estonia’s Laura of Oku Moku for her local recommendation, Le’Maagi Highlighting Powder.  Continue reading “Around The World With The Beauties! – (Czech Republic/Slovakia) Soaphoria’s Lip Balm & (Estonia) Le’Maagi Highlighting Powder”
