Penida LaCasa Cottage: A Cozy Place to Stay in Nusa Penida, Bali

I got some kind of writer’s block lately. Not because I had no idea what to write, because I’ve actually got plenty of topics that I want to write on… But rather I was too lazy to sit down and start writing in front of my computer. My back hurts from carrying this dry sense of humor. LOL.

On a serious note though, I also got some other projects that I’ve been working on. I’m transitioning for my VA role, as now I’m more responsible for content creation instead of just managing clients’ social media. But anyway… I’m here now, so forget about work! 😀

I know that the first thing I need to write after this writer’s block passed would be the review of the accommodation where I stayed in Nusa Penida to catch up with my last Bali post. So, if you’re planning to go to the island and considering some options for the accommodation, I’ll share my experience staying at Penida LaCasa Cottage in Nusa Penida on this post.

What You Could Get in Haarlem for $10 – Experience the Real Dutch Culture in the Less Touristy City

Hi everyone!

Here’s the thing, I’ve got a plan to finally go to Europe maybe next year. In fact, I’ve been saving up for this since enough money in my bank account is necessary in order to get the Schengen visa. You know, Indonesian passport holder problem.

Speaking of which, I heard the easiest way to apply for Schengen visa in Indonesia is through the Dutch embassy. I don’t have any plan yet to stop by the Netherlands quite yet, but I’m considering it. And just when I’m considering it, Lisa from Flip Flop Globetrotters reached out to cover the first city in the Netherlands for our very own $10 series.

Not Amsterdam, but it is definitely not so far from the capital city… It’s Haarlem.

Or as my friend Keshia said sarcastically, “It’s a city close to that Amsterdam country.” And it is due to the ignorance of some people who think the Netherlands is only Amsterdam. 😛

What You Could Get in Omaha for $10 – What’s There to See in the Biggest City of Nebraska

After covering Islamorada last week, today we will remain in the United States of America to cover another city in another state. And this time, we’re going to aim to the state of Nebraska.

As some of you probably know, I know nothing much about travel destinations in America. However, thanks to the knowledge gained from Hollywood University, I suppose I could get some American jokes, antics, and stereotypes. And when it comes to Omaha, Nebraska… One thing that I remember about it is that it’s the hometown of Penny from The Big Bang Theory.

Other than that, based on some jokes I heard on the TV show… I suppose Omaha is not that popular as a travel destination in America. Let alone for foreigners who might aim for big cities like New York or Washington D.C, it seems like even people in America rarely has Omaha on their bucket list.

But if you’re a traveler like me who prefers to go to some off-the-beaten places, then maybe you should consider Omaha next time. Thanks to SJ of The Prosperous Blonde who will cover the city on our $10 series today! 🙂
