Review: Malindo Air (A Flight from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore)

Just when I wanted to highly recommend Malindo Air for any flight in Southeast Asia region, I just found out that Malindo has recently changed their policy in terms of free baggage and onboard meals.

So, after my Borneo trip ended, I flew to Singapore with Malindo Air from Kota Kinabalu. And I suppose this was one of the last Malindo flights before they changed the policy. Now that they’ve got a new policy with a few flight options, I’m still going to write a review of my flight anyway.

I’ve also checked the price with each package to compare with my last experience flying with Malindo. So, would I still recommend you to fly with Malindo around ASEAN countries? Here’s the review for this Malindo Air! 🙂

(Review) Yomi Hotel: Where to Stay in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

I can’t believe that the series of my Borneo trip will come to an end in a few minutes. And this post, in particular, is going to be the last post that I’m going to write, covering the places I’ve been in Borneo.

Now that I’ve shared with you what I did during my stay in Kota Kinabalu, it’s time for me to share my view on the accommodation I booked for the trip. By far, the best accommodation where I stayed throughout Borneo would be The Room in Miri. So, what’s my view of the hotel where I stayed during my stop in Sabah?

Well, I chose Yomi Hotel for this trip. Apart from the affordable night rate, the fact that they provide breakfasts for the guest is also my main consideration before finally booking the accommodation.

So, how did I find Yomi Hotel in Kota Kinabalu?

A Sheet Mask That I Honestly Despise: Cherimoa Animal Mask Pack (Penguin N.M.F Aqua)

You’ve probably read my review on Karados Cherimoa mask some time ago. It took me a while until I realized that the brand is actually the brand that also produces the cute animal-shaped sheet masks. One that shapes like tiger, penguin, etc.

It was only a couple of months ago when I decided to try the latter as I just love stocking up sheet mask for the sake of having it when I have time to pamper myself. Which is quite often. 😛

You know, the perks of working from home… You could always put on a sheet mask while catching the deadline.

Anyway, in this post I’m going to focus on one of the Cherimoa Animal Mask series, Penguin N.M.F Aqua. I’m going to review this Penguin N.M.F Aqua and spoiler alert, elaborate to you why I hate this mask in particular.

Skrill: Transfer Money Internationally From Indonesia, Hassle-Free!

In case you don’t know yet, not so long after I had a collaboration with Shi Hui for the post on Indonesian guys vs Singaporean guys, who knows that I end up dating the latter to prove the difference on my own?!

Well, if there’s any obvious difference between dating my current boyfriend and the previous ones, it’s actually the transparency about my vulnerability. The financial aspect, no matter how hard it is to admit it, is one of them.

I really want to act like I’m a strong, independent woman. But then there are times when I’m short on cash, especially a couple of months ago when my work was a little slower than usual. Last month, I had to borrow some money from my boyfriend.

If you don’t know me, you may think that shit like that occasionally happens in life. But if you know me personally, I suppose you know how embarrassing it could be for me. But hey, work has been quite busy again lately and I’ve paid back the money he loaned me. And it was my first time transferring money internationally from Indonesia. 🙂

I figured it might be helpful if I could write something about it. And how I’ve found a very helpful platform to help me transferring money overseas from Indonesia, hassle-free. And not just from Indonesia, as Skrill provides international money transfer services from many other countries too.

Writers Academy on Travelista Club: It Is NOT a Scam!

The first time I heard about Travelista Club, I suppose it was a long, long time ago when I didn’t even have this blog yet. However, back then I was hesitant to sign up for GoDaddy since I wasn’t financially ready to purchase my own domain or hosting.

It was probably some time last year when I saw the Facebook ad of this club again. At the time, I decided to sign up since I already have this blog and I think it’s gonna be a good opportunity for me to get more exposures in terms of my writing skill.

I signed up through Writers Academy, and they claim to pay $40 AUD for a 1000-word article. So what is this Travelista Club, and what does it have anything to do with Writers Academy?

Well, allow me to explain it to you in this post as I realized that it’s been a while since the last time I wrote a piece on blogging. 😉
