Review: Eyebrow Threading & Brazilian Waxing at Waxhaus 23 Paskal Bandung

Do you shave or wax?

Well, I used to shave everything from my eyebrows to my pubic hair. That, until I decided to start waxing around 3 years ago in Jakarta. Ever since, knowing that it totally stings to wax after having your hair previously shaved, I never really look back to the shaving option ever again.

That, until after Asian Games 2018 finished last year when I moved back to Bandung for good. Despite the fact I’m originally from Bandung, I had never waxed anywhere in the city. But since the chance would be rare for me to occasionally go to Jakarta, I decided to find a new wax parlor where I could have my eyebrows and hair down there done.

During my time in Jakarta, I usually went to N’s Sugar Waxing since it’s located close to my place in South Jakarta. After googling some information about waxing place in Bandung, I found out about Waxhaus.

I went to Waxhaus for eyebrow threading and Brazilian waxing earlier this year before going to Singapore. And recently, I came back for the same procedure.

Review: The SAEM Natural-Tox Apple Mask Sheet

Hi everyone!

It’s been a while since the last time I wrote something related to beauty category, so here I am back again with yet another review. Since my skin condition hasn’t been very friendly lately, I’ve been taking extra care of it. By extra, I mean I use a face mask on my daily basis.

Once in 3 days, I use some organic facial mask with sheet masks in between. For the latter, I’ve collected sheet masks from various brands with mostly K-beauty brands. And one of the brands that I just tried is the SAEM Natural-Tox Apple Mask Sheet.

So in this post, I’m going to share with you my experience using this product and what my take is on the product. ๐Ÿ™‚

10 Inspiring Women Travelers and Stories Behind Their Journey

Happy International Women’s Day!

As you may have probably noticed from my blog, I’m trying to infuse my girly touch on my blog. And I’d love to cover stories from other women just so I could show you that everyone has their own battle. Not just that, but also to show you their fighting spirits.

Honestly, now that I think about it… If you want to fight effectively, instead of telling yourself to man up, you should tell yourself to fight like a girl.

So, in celebrating the women’s day today, I decided to connect with some other fellow women travelers to get to know them. To find out what’s the story behind their journey. And I’m super excited to share this to you all, in the hope their stories could inspire you the way they do me.

What Do You See Yourself in 5 Years?

This is such a typical question that a potential employer may ask in most companies based in Indonesia. Like, it’s so common that I can’t remember a job interview that leaves this question alone.

Speaking of the question, I remember 10 years ago when I turned 20, I made some crappy note on Facebook talking about some expectation that I had in 5 years. Some have turned into reality, when some other let’s just say we got buried it into the ground. ๐Ÿ˜›

And well, it’s already Aquarius season lately and if there’s anything that you need to know,ย then it is the fact that I’m counting down the days to the day I turn 30. I figure, maybe I should make a post like 10 years ago: some scrap about how I want to see myself in 5 years.

Review: Lhamour Mongolia Charcoal and Pine Tar Soap

If you read the last post on Around The World With The Beauties, you may be familiar with Lhamour Mongolia already. As I mentioned in the post, I actually got some other products from Lhamour that I’m still yet to try. And the new one that I just initially tried is their soap bar.

At first, I wasn’t so sure whether the soap was actually used for body or face. But then as I read their official website and I found that we can also use it for our face, I tried it as the facial wash instead.

My consideration is the ingredients with activated charcoal that it seems to be effective for oily and acne-prone skin. And lately, I got some problem with acne on my face too. I figure, maybe it’s the best time to try. Especially now that I’m so obsessed with any organic beauty products!
