Girls’ Day (and Night) Out: How to Spend Quality Time with Your Mom as Adults

After our last staycation at Savoy Homann Hotel a couple of months ago, I recently just finished yet another staycation at another hotel in town. Again, my mom tagged along. This time, I planned out a visit to the new selfie spot in town with her.

As I uploaded a pic of me on Instagram, taken by my mom there, to my surprise I got some messages from my friends who somewhat got inspired to take their mom out too. They asked me what I usually did during the staycation. How to keep my mom entertained, etc.

Well, thanks to those messages because now I’m also inspired to create this article. Some content to give you an idea on what you could do to spend quality time with your mom now that you’re both adults.

5 Lessons About Work That I’ve Learned in the Past 10 Years as a Professional

Career talk, people!

I’m in the mood to talk about work today, because finally after 10 years of working different jobs, getting frustrated because of the job or the boss, I finally got to the point where I think I’m quite content with what I do.

Yup, it took me 10 freaking years to get to this place. To the place where I’m happy with what I do. The place where I complain less. The place where I think I’ve finally found the purpose of my life. The purpose of the skills that I could confidently offer.

Indonesia Beyond Bali (Part 2): Where to Go and What to See in Indonesia (That Are NOT Bali)

FYI, I had to postpone my Java-Bali-Gili trip due to some family matter to September. And for those who don’t know, ironically I’m an Indonesian who’s never been to Bali. So yes, the trip is going to be my first time touching down on the island of gods. Or Pulau Dewata, as we Indonesians dub the island.

Anyway, you’ve probably read my previous post that was published last week in Indonesia’s 74th Independence Day. Well, this post is gonna be the second part where I’ve compiled the list of recommended places to visit in Indonesia… Those that are NOT Bali.

I mean, as an Indonesian myself, I’m so sick of ignorant travelers who think of Bali as the whole country and not just a small province in a country called Indonesia. So, what kind of places do we have this time? Let’s check out!
