And pretty much like my greeting this time, on this month’s Around The World With The Beauties series, we’re gonna talk about a local beauty product from India.
If I usually cover 2 different products from 2 different bloggers, this time our contributor is just one. And it’s the one and only Neisha from Hale and Belle.
The products we’re gonna talk about here split into two brands. The first is Coloressence Satin Smooth Highlighter Blusher and Vanaha Nature In A Box.
So, if last month we talked about the Brit local beauty products due to the Royal Wedding, this month we’re gonna talk about its colonized country who is predicted to be the new superpower by 2020 due to their influence on the international stage nowadays.
Ready to get to know two of Indian local beauty products? After all, this is the country who has given us Aishwarya Rai and Bollywood in general.
Coloressence Satin Smooth Highlighter Blusher
Contributor: Neisha from Hale and Belle
Neisha Arora is a beauty blogger by passion and the publisher behind Hale and Belle. She is one amongst a few of the Rare Earth Elements carrying along a blissful dignity in the pocket of her heart. Yes! She’s a writer and she’s a poet as well.
I don’t really get used to wearing blushes daily, but this subtle shade in Coloressence’s blush collection kinda stole my attention. The first time I swatched it in the story, I just knew that I wanted this.
The one that I’ve got, it’s Coloressence Satin Smooth Lighter Blusher SH-7, and you can get it in some stores as well as on Amazon.
The product comes in a charming look with a cute little plastic box in black with a see-through top that you can take a look and consider to purchase the most suitable shades if you happen to find this in some offline stores.
The screw on the product’s lid makes it sturdy and functional packaging which is so convenient for traveling purpose. Hence, a must-have in your traveling pouch!
It’s quite affordable with only 325 INR (around $4.8 USD) per piece.
This range by Coloressence comes up with a few options for the shades. It’s available in so many variations of color from pinks, peaches, mauves, and even browns. While some are with shimmers, the shade SH-7 that I opted is a warm peach shade with a matte effect.
This product is perfect for you if you attempt to get a sun-kissed with a natural flush on your cheeks. It highlights your face with a brilliant mate effect for a sultry look.
It is a beautiful pinkish color that works out pretty well for a fair to medium skin tones. All the products from this range claim to act as highlighters as well, and the product definitely has an amazing texture! It has a sheen of sheer that adds the beauty of this product. And it could stay well for around 4 hours, which is quite great.
However, you can even expand its longevity with a primer and a setting spray. For a complete review, you can also read it here.
Vanaha Nature In A Box
If you happen to Kanpur and are keen to try a fine organic beauty product that can be made with love exclusively for you, you may be interested to know more about Vanaha Nature.
Its handcrafted products stem from the love of nature and also work with nature.
Vanaha caters customized products catering to different skin types, issues, and needs for each personal user.
So, for anyone who’s willing to buy the product, you can just send them a DM to them about your skin issues along with your fragrance preferences, and they will serve you accordingly and create the product that is most suitable for you.
For this, I chose to have lip balm and face mask that suit my skin preference and needs. So, I’ve got this Lip Balm Spearmint and Face Mask in French Pink Clay Rose.
For these products, I got the lip balm for 330 INR (around $4.9 USD) and the face mask for as low as 225 INR (around $3.3 USD).
The lip balm not only nourishes my lips, but it also helps in discoloration of lips. And the spearmint fragrance that I chose is so divine, this might be useful in a hot, humid weather as long as during the summer.
As for the face mask, it is formulated with french pink clay, rose, neem, and moringa.
It helps to clean the skin and slough off the dead skin cells for an overall refresh appearance. If you have an oily skin, you can mix it with water or diluted apple cider vinegar for a better result.
But if you’ve got a dry skin, no worries because you can still use this product with a bit of twist. Prepare the face mask and mix it with milk for the best result. And this amazing face mask could do the magic for you. 🙂
I personally love blusher and can’t live without them. However, if I got to choose one of these two products from India, I’d totally go for Vanaha because I love how it enables you to customize it depending on your personal skin needs.
And also, I love how so affordable these beauty products are. Nothing is more than $5 USD so I really think it’s worth the bargain.
Have you tried any beauty product from India? If so, what is it and how do you find it?
